Andy was nominated and elected to attend Presidents Club for his company, Spring Mobile this year. He worked really hard and both of us have made sacrifices for the company. I am so proud of him for all of his hard work. We feel so grateful to be working for such a great company with so many great people. We are very blessed.

We were supposed to be going to Cancun Mexico until the swine flu outbreak. Two weeks before our trip, the location was changed to Maui, Hawaii. We did not complain! My sweet parents watched the 3 kids which was not an easy task. Kate is not quite 6 months old and is not sleeping through the night. (Sorry Mom!) My Dad retired this year so I'm sure my Mom was grateful for his help with the kids. I'm sure it's much harder for a 65-year-old to care for 3 kids ages 4 and under, than a 29-year-old Mom. Thanks for everything Mom and Dad!! I'm sure my sister Jamie helped a lot too. Thanks Jamie!!

Maui was really fun! We were there for 6 days. The company paid for everything including a $300 visa gift card for our food. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and ocean, boogie boarding, snorkeling, eating great food, walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets, The road to Hana, shopping and more! Enjoy these pictures.

We arrived in Hawaii around 10pm so we didn't get to see all of the beauty right off. When we woke up the next morning and looked out from our deck, this was our view. It's not an ocean view but it was plenty beautiful for me. It would cost $175 extra per night if we wanted an ocean view! Insane! That golf course is sure pretty.


Our first full day in Hawaii we spent by the pool and the beach. A good portion of the people from Spring were out there that day. We had fun swimming, going down water slides and just relaxing.


This was our second night in Hawaii. Spring held a welcome thing with hors d'oeuvres and a Hawaiian band. It was long but still fun. After that, we were all split into groups of 3 to go to dinner with one of the executives. We went with the Senior VP of sales (Brett Bradshaw) who is also Andy's boss. There were 14 in our group and his budget was $1300. Most of us got filet mignon.


Just some goofing off with Rick and Amy. It was fun for me to get to know them and some of the other people that Andy works with. He also enjoyed getting to know a lot of the people better since he doesn't work with most of them on a regular basis.

A view of our hotel grounds. There were flamingos and parrots and waterfalls and pretty vegetation. There were about 5 different swimming pools, two waterslides and the best thing about it is that it was right next to the ocean.

So Hawaii was just gorgeous! We did the Road to Hana and this is just one of the many beautiful pictures that we took of the scenery. There were several stops along the road. Too bad we didn't stop on all of them.



These signs for one-lane bridges were everywhere on the Road to Hana. I just had to snap a picture of them so that we remember.

A great picture of Andy near a waterfall on the Road to Hana. It was some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen! The views of the ocean and the vegetation were all just breath-taking. Too bad the road was closed so we didn't see it all!


This was an amazing, beautiful beach! It's the biggest, undeveloped white sand beach on Maui. It was so beautiful with the lava rock, the white sand and turquoise ocean. Andy and I just drove down for part of the day to enjoy this beauty!!

Right before the awards evening, there was this super cute girl who did a beautiful Hawaiian dance. I had to get a picture to remember it.


We had lots of fun with our friends Rick and Amy Permain. We did some body surfing in the ocean before checkout then hit the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" restaurant for lunch followed by a day in Lahaina with them.

For our last day we spent our time in Lahaina. We did some shopping and relaxing and we ate the most amazing shaved ice we have ever had in our entire life.

The boys were so excited to see us when we got home. We bought them candy lei's and a toy volcano. They were just so happy we were home although they had loads of fun with Grandma and Grandpa.

Well, we've had a lot going on lately it seems like. I have REALLY slacked on my blog the last couple of months. The kids are growing up. Read had his 4th birthday in March. Gage had his 3rd birthday in April and Kate is 5 months old today! Where has the time gone? I had fun making a Bob the builder cake for Gage and a Barry the Bee cake for Read.

Andy was recently elected to go to President's club with his company. He feels extremely honored and we are so grateful to be going to Hawaii next week. Originally we were going to Cancun until the outbreak of the swine flu. The location was just changed a few days ago. Andy has worked really hard in his new position here in Idaho. He seems to be doing great at it and his boss seems quite pleased with his work. I'm really proud of him for his dedication and for his hard work to provide for our growing family.

About a month ago I started working at Gold's gym just one day per week. To my surprise, the participants in my class liked me so much that my boss called me and begged for me to teach another class. Unfortunately it's my least favorite class format but I agreed to teach 2x per week. I'm also running 3x a week with some very fun friends. We're doing about 16-20 miles per week. I am doing the Teton Dam half marathon the second week of June. Last night I signed up to enter the lottery for the Saint George marathon in October. This will be my first ever if my name is drawn. CRAZY!! I don't even want to but the girls I run with say I can do it. We shall see.

I still don't LOVE Pocatello but it sure has grown on me in the last month or so. It's getting warm and green and beautiful arond here. It's just the winters I can't handle I guess. I've made lots of friends which always makes life more fun.

Last month I was called as the primary chorister. BOY IS IT FUN!! I was really nervous at first but I love it! Those kids can really sing!

Our home still hasnt sold in Denver. We got a terrible offer, about 40,000 less than our asking price. We countered but they didn't accept. Tough time to be selling a house.

This is a picture of the boys at Mommo & Pacha's house for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. They had a blast and found lots of eggs with candy. Andy and I also had fun on the adult egg hunt. We found eggs with a total of about $15 or so in it. Thanks Mommo & Pacha!!! We enjoyed spending the weekend with some of the Warner clan and watching conference with them.

This is the mountain in my backyard. My boys have had endless fun climbing it. Funny enough, they will climb half way up, take a pee, and climb back down. There's a neighbor cat that they love to play with back there too. Gage carries it around like it's a rag doll. I'm so grateful to finally have a yard for my kids.

Read's "Barry the Bee" cake from Jerry Seinfeld's "The Bee Movie". Read LOVED IT! It took me about 2 hours to make. Not too long, thank goodness!

Read is now 4 years old!! Where has the time gone? He's such a sweet boy and a great big brother! He is constantly looking out for his little brother and baby sister. He's such a good helper to Mom and Dad. Read is a sweetheart!! We love him so much!

Read was so excited about his cake. I had been asking him for weeks what kind of cake he wanted me to make. He loves "The Bee Movie" so he wanted me to make a Barry the bee cake. It turned out pretty good and the look on Read's face when he was it for the first time was priceless!!

Read had a birthday and turned 4 years old! He was so lucky to have his Grandma and Grandpa drive up from Salt Lake to spend the day with him. They gave him some bowling pins with two bowling balls. Grandma and Grandpa came up after church, had dinner and birthday cake with our sweet little Read.

Andy's brother Troy got a job in American Falls, Idaho which is about 20 minutes from us. So he and his wife and step-daughter came to stay with us for about a month. We had so much fun with them!! We played games nearly every night and we managed to fit in a paraffin hand bath as well. They closed on their home near the end of April, moved in, settled in a little bit and had a baby. We're so glad we had a place for them to stay.

Andy's sister, Sherie, brought her 3 kids to spend the weekend of their Spring Break with us. Since there's not a whole lot to do in Pocatello, we just hung out and played games. My boys had fun with her kids. It was fun to spend some time with Sherie. We're still in shock that we live so close to family. It sure has been fun.

Running

I ran 6 miles yesterday!!! The exciting thing is that it was a breeze. YEAH! I'm hoping to do the Viking Man which is an olympic triathlon. It's on my birthday in June so I'll see if I can train enough by then. We shall see!

Cute Kate

How cute is this? I just put a black blanket over her bouncy seat and snapped some photos. I was excited that they turned out so cute. I wanted to send these out for Valentines but the LAME-O Walmart one hour photos was down.

Snowman

Our snowman turned out pretty good. His eyes were peanut M&M's and a carrot nose, of course. A piece of wood for the mouth and some tumble weed for the arms (there's plenty of that around here). It's so healthy for my boys to have some time with Mom and without Kate. It makes me feel like a better Mom when I set aside time to focus on playing with the kids rather than cleaning.

Don't look too close at me. Good thing I stayed in my yard rather than going in public looking like this with yesterdays makeup on. Read and Gage and I had such a fun time playing in the snow. It was the perfect packing snow so we made a pretty great snowman.

Kate's blessing day

Kate was blessed on February 1st and it was such a great day! We had a lot of people come to take part in Kate's special day. Thanks to all of you who made such an effort to be here with us. Andy blessed Kate and did a wonderful job. It was definitely a spiritual experience for us all. We are so thankful that we have little Kate in our family. She's a sweet, sweet baby. Every day I remind myself what a lucky mama I am. We wish some of our Colorado friends could have joined us. We miss you guys.

This was the day we brought Kate home from the hospital. The boys were so cute!! I had to dig through boxes to find baby blankets and clothes. As far as we knew, we were moving to Idaho with baby Kate still cookin'. We were so glad to bring her home even though our house was completely boxed up. Thank goodness for a good friends and an amazingly supportive ward!!
